About The Job:

- Experience: 10-18 years
- Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / Azure Subject Matter Expert
- This is a Cloud Engineering position with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.
- The role serves as a top-level Subject Matter Expert for Azure Infrastructure, from architecture and implementation to support and operations.
- Requires deep expertise across Azure services including Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, Azure Files, Azure Networking, Security, and Identity Management.
- The candidate will contribute immediately to a highly skilled engineering team and help drive cloud transformation, operational excellence, and innovation.

Essential Job Functions:

- Plan, design, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure from the ground up.
- Manage day-to-day Azure cloud operations including upgrades, infrastructure changes, and architectural enhancements.
- Ensure adherence to security standards and perform vulnerability remediation across infrastructure platforms.
- Provide hands-on engineering and advanced support for Azure cloud infrastructure environments.
- Troubleshoot networking and communication issues involving Azure Firewall and Azure FortiGate environments.
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure system integrity, availability, performance, and operational stability.
- Implement and support Azure integrated services including Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, Azure Files, and related services.
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable, resilient,



and cost-optimized cloud architectures.
- Support cloud migration initiatives and modernization projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions align with business and technology objectives.
- Drive cloud best practices, governance, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Perform additional cloud engineering and infrastructure responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

Technical Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Windows Server administration experience.
- 3-5 years of hands-on Cloud Engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience executing Cloud Migration projects.
- 3+ years designing and supporting Azure Cloud Architecture.
- 2+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Bicep and ARM Templates.
- 2+ years of VMware administration and virtualization experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Veeam Backup and Recovery solutions.
- 2+ years of experience managing Azure Firewall environments.
- 2+ years of experience administering Azure Backup solutions.

Azure Expertise
- Strong expertise in Azure Networking, Virtual Networks, Routing, Security Groups, and Connectivity.
- Deep understanding of Azure Identity and Access Management.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, Azure Files, and Azure native services.
- Knowledge of cloud security, governance, compliance, and operational best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure and networking issues.
- Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, backup,



and business continuity strategies.
- Experience implementing secure and scalable enterprise cloud solutions.

Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as a senior technical leader and subject matter expert.
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, operations, security, and business teams.
