About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented AV Project Manager to manage and deliver Audio-Visual integration projects from project initiation through successful completion and handover.

The candidate will be responsible for project planning, client coordination, technical execution, manpower management, procurement coordination, project scheduling, quality control, testing & commissioning, and final handover.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of professional AV systems, video conferencing, display solutions, audio systems, control systems, structured cabling, and AV integration, along with excellent project management and client-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Management

- Plan, schedule, execute, monitor, and close AV projects within agreed timelines.
- Understand project scope, specifications, BOQ, drawings, and client requirements.
- Prepare detailed project execution plans, schedules, and milestones.
- Allocate manpower, materials, tools, and other project resources.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.

1. Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress updates.
- Understand client requirements and manage project changes effectively.
- Resolve project-related issues and escalations professionally.

1. AV Project Execution

- Supervise complete AV system installation and integration.
- Coordinate installation of:
- LED/LCD/Interactive Displays
- Projectors and projection systems
- Professional audio systems
- Microphones and DSP systems
- Video conferencing systems
- Control systems
- Digital signage
- Room booking systems
- Matrix/Switching systems
- Structured AV cabling
- Video walls and collaboration solutions
- Ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

1. Team & Subcontractor Management

- Manage AV engineers, technicians, programmers, and subcontractors.
- Allocate work and monitor daily site activities.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and resources.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure quality and timely execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections.

Procurement & Material Coordination

- Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, and Vendors for project materials.
- Prepare and monitor material requirement schedules.
- Track material availability and delivery timelines.
- Ensure materials received at site match approved specifications.
- Minimize project delays caused by material shortages.

1. Project Cost & Commercial Control

- Monitor project budgets and expenses.
- Track project BOQ, variations, additional works, and change orders.
- Coordinate with the commercial/accounts team regarding project billing and documentation.
- Identify potential cost overruns and take corrective action.

1. Testing & Commissioning

- Coordinate system testing, commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all AV systems are fully functional before client demonstration.
- Coordinate integration between AV, IT, networking, and control systems.
- Conduct client demonstrations and resolve commissioning issues.

1. Quality & Safety

- Ensure project execution meets company and client quality standards.
- Ensure proper installation practices and workmanship.
- Follow site safety procedures and ensure technicians/subcontractors comply with safety requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure timely closure of snags.

1. Documentation & Handover

- Maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and maintain:
- BOQ
- Project schedules
- Shop drawings
- As-built drawings
- Installation checklists
- Testing & commissioning reports
- Snag lists
- O&M; manuals
- Warranty documents
- Ensure complete project handover and obtain client sign-off.

Knowledge of platforms such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure, Logitech, Cisco, Poly, Yealink, Barco, Samsung, LG or similar AV technologies will be an added advantage.

Qualification & Experience

Education:

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Networking, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in AV System Integration / Audio Visual Projects / IT Infrastructure Projects.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing AV projects independently is preferred.
- Experience handling commercial, corporate, hospitality, education, government, or large-scale AV projects will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile We are looking for a hands-on AV Project Manager who can independently manage projects, lead site teams, coordinate with clients and vendors, understand technical AV requirements, and ensure projects are delivered on time with the expected quality.

Salary: As per industry standards and candidate's experience.

Pay: ₹23,382.02 - ₹60,796.19 per month
