We are looking for a seasoned automation engineer to

- Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess high quality software solutions for our new state of the art data platform-as-a-service offering that covers data pipelines, orchestration, data access as well as data mesh integration.
- Design, develop and maintain automated testing for data integration pipeline solutions.
- Identify the areas of regression and contribute towards automation of newly added features and any development tools to increase QA efficiency.
- demonstrate superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- demonstrate superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science

5 years of experience in QA with strong knowledge of SDLC, working on all components of the test lifecycle

5 years of hands-on Test Automation experience in cutting-edge Data pipeline/UI/API frameworks, including experience in designing frameworks from scratch

Strong object-oriented design and coding skills with experience in developing automation in at least one scripting language – Java, Python (must have)

Writing, maintaining, and executing automation tests for high-quality products, including the use of test frameworks such as Testing/Junit along with Selenium/Protractor or other scripting languages

Strong SQL scripting skills

Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines

Experience in test automation using BDD/Cucumber/TestNG combined with strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium (must have)
