Role Overview

We are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in test automation, with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and TypeScript. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of automation frameworks, API testing, and software testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Create and execute UI automation test cases for web applications.
- Identify, analyze, and report software defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and test suites.
- Execute regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
- Troubleshoot test failures and identify root causes.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall product quality.





Required Skills

- 2–3 years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation.
- Solid hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Positive programming experience in TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of UI automation and web application testing.
- Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Good debugging and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with API testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with test reporting and automation dashboards.

Candidate Requirements

- Only Bangalore-based candidates will be considered.
- Candidate must be comfortable working in a hybrid model with 3 days WFO.
- Candidate should be available for a Face-to-Face interview in Bangalore.
- Candidates who can join on or before 15 September 2026 are preferred.
