Company Description Better Speech & Hearing Clinic supports individuals with speech and hearing difficulties through both online and in-person consultations. The clinic is staffed by qualified and experienced professionals registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Services include therapy for a wide range of speech and language disorders across all age groups.
The clinic also provides comprehensive hearing assessments, hearing aid trials, and fittings. Team members collaborate to deliver personalized, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s needs.
Role Description This is a full-time, in office Audiologist & Speech Pathologist role based in Bengaluru South. The role involves conducting detailed speech, language, and hearing assessments for clients across different age groups, and developing individualized treatment and intervention plans. Daily responsibilities include delivering therapy sessions, monitoring progress, maintaining accurate clinical records, and coordinating follow-up care.
The Audiologist & Speech Pathologist will also perform hearing aid evaluations, trials, fittings, and counselling on hearing aid use and maintenance. Collaboration with other clinic professionals,
participation in case discussions, and providing education to clients and families are integral parts of the role.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
- Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and adherence to professional and ethical standards.
- Strong skills in speech, language, and hearing assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapy planning.
- Experience with hearing aid trials, fitting, counselling, and follow-up support for diverse client populations.
- Ability to maintain detailed clinical documentation, manage caseloads, and use basic digital tools for records and communication.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning, openness to new therapy approaches, and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences.
- Prior clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation setting is an advantage.
