Oneness / EKAM is looking for a hands-on Audio & AV Engineer to manage studio audio production, live event sound, and the installation, operation and maintenance of campus audio-visual equipment.
Applicants from anywhere in India are welcome. The selected candidate must relocate to and work full-time, on-site at the EKAM campus.
Key responsibilities
· Record, edit, clean up and mix audio for videos, talks, interviews, voiceovers, music and other digital projects.
· Manage the audio studio, recording setups, session files, backups and equipment readiness.
· Handle sound setup, sound checks and live mixing for campus programmes and events, including audio feeds for recordings and livestreams.
· Operate microphones, digital mixing consoles, speakers, amplifiers, stage monitors and recording equipment.
· Install, connect, configure, test, troubleshoot and maintain campus AV systems, including projectors, displays, cabling and related equipment.
· Carry out preventive maintenance and basic repairs within your expertise; coordinate specialist servicing and repairs when required.
· Maintain equipment inventory, service records, accessories and organised storage.
· Coordinate with content, video, programme and event teams to meet production deadlines and deliver reliable sound.
SZkills and experience
· Ideally 2–5 years of relevant experience, with practical ability in both live sound and studio recording or mixing.
· Proficiency in one or more of Logic Pro X, Adobe Audition or FL Studio for recording, editing and mixing, with the ability to clean up and enhance spoken audio.
· Hands-on experience operating digital mixing consoles for live events.
· A positive understanding of microphones, signal flow, audio processing, AV installation and equipment troubleshooting.
· A responsible, organised approach with clear communication, an approachable manner and calm problem-solving under pressure.
· A diploma or qualification in audio engineering, sound technology, electronics or a related field is welcome; demonstrated practical skills matter most.
Work schedule and time off The role follows campus programme and production schedules. There is no fixed Saturday or Sunday off. Weekend work is required when programmes or projects are scheduled.
You will receive six days off per month, plus the government holidays applicable to that month. Days off must be planned in advance with the reporting manager around programme schedules, project deadlines and operational requirements.
Attendance and full support are required during programmes and events where you are assigned essential duties. Planned time off must be scheduled during periods without programmes or when your presence is not required. If work is required on a government holiday, the corresponding day off can be taken on another agreed date.
We expect full commitment during assigned programme periods and responsible planning of time off with the team. Emergencies and unforeseen leave needs should be communicated promptly to the reporting manager.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
