Position: Audio Developer

Experience: 4+ years

Location: Hyderabad

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Significant industry experience in audio software, DSP, multimedia systems, or embedded platforms.

- Robust expertise in one or more of the following:

- Audio frameworks and pipelines (e.g., Android audio stack, ALSA, ASoC, or equivalent)

- DSP audio processing, algorithms, and optimization

- Lowlatency, realtime, and powerefficient audio systems

- Proficiency in systems programming languages such as C/C++ (and scripting languages where applicable).

- Proven experience owning complex technical features endtoend with minimal supervision.

- Coordinate with Qualcomm stakeholders and customer teams.

- Guide debugging of multimedia pipeline issues.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Support performance optimization and stability improvements.

- Review code quality and integration readiness.

- Experience with crossOS or crossplatform audio solutions (mobile,



automotive, IoT, XR, or embedded systems). Mentor engineers and track deliverables.

- Handson experience with performance profiling, latency analysis, and power optimization for audio workloads.

- Prior experience influencing technical direction beyond immediate team scope or acting as a vertical/area owner.

Skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

- Strong Embedded C/C++ programming.

- Linux/Android multimedia framework knowledge.

- Qualcomm multimedia architecture exposure.

- Knowledge of ALSA, Audio HAL, Camera HAL, V4L2, OpenMAX, DRM/KMS.

- Understanding of codec pipelines and synchronization.

- Experience in debugging kernel/user-space multimedia issues.

- Familiarity with ADB, Logcat, GDB, and performance tools.
