Key responsibilities.

1. 1. Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database objects.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve database and application-related technical issues.
3. Analyze production incidents, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
4. Participate in incident and problem management activities.
5. Work closely with Application Developers, DevOps, QA, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects and changes.
6. Analyze logs, SQL queries, database performance, and application behaviour to identify the root cause of issues.
7. Participate in deployments, releases, production support, and post-deployment validation activities.
8. Ensure database queries & other relevant changes are properly tested, documented, and implemented as per defined processes.
9. Coordinate with different teams to track issues and ensure timely resolution.
10. Communicate technical issues, status, risks,



and resolutions effectively to internal stakeholders and customers.
11. Interact directly with customers, understand their issues/requirements, provide appropriate updates, and manage technical discussions professionally.
12. Take ownership of assigned issues and ensure timely closure with proper communication and follow-up.

Mandatory Technical skills.

1. 1. Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL / PostgreSQL SQL.
2. Good understanding of OOPS concepts.
3. Solid SQL query-writing and troubleshooting skills.
