Role Description The Associate Professor of AI and Machine Learning will design and deliver high-quality, graduate-level and professional courses in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in a remote, part time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lectures and learning materials, teaching live or recorded classes, guiding learners through hands-on projects, and assessing assignments and exams. The role involves mentoring learners, providing constructive feedback, and supporting diverse backgrounds and learning styles.

The Associate

Professor will collaborate with curriculum designers and other faculty members to update course content in line with current industry and research developments, and may contribute to research initiatives, academic publications, or outreach activities that advance the organization’s mission.

Qualifications





- Strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including core concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and model evaluation.
- Applied experience with common ML/AI frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and the ability to translate theory into practical, real-world examples.
- Demonstrated teaching, training, or mentoring experience in higher education or professional learning environments, with skill in designing engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
- Ability to develop and refine curriculum and instructional materials, incorporating current research and industry best practices in AI and related technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to learners with varied levels of prior experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage part-time teaching responsibilities in a fully remote setting.
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related field; equivalent industry experience with a strong academic or publication record may be considered.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and non-discriminatory learning environment that supports learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience with emerging technologies such as Quantum Computing or advanced data analytics is a plus.
- Prior involvement in academic research, industry projects, or collaborations in AI and Machine Learning is highly beneficial.
