Associate Product Manager

About the role

We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to support our CRM and core TPA (Third-Party Administrator) product lines. You'll work closely with a senior Product Manager and the engineering team — helping translate operational and stakeholder input into clear requirements, tracking product KPIs, and getting hands-on exposure to the technical side of product work (data models, API contracts, and system trade-offs) as you grow into owning larger pieces of the roadmap. You'll report to the Product Manager / Head of Product.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred
- MBA a plus, not required

What you'll do
- Support the product roadmap for CRM (lead/case management, member and provider relationship workflows) and the core TPA platform (claims administration, cashless and reimbursement workflows, enrollment, provider-network servicing)
- Work with engineering to understand data models/schemas, API contracts, and integration points well enough to write accurate requirements
- Help translate operational pain points from claims, ops, and support teams into clear specs (BRD/PRD-style) and acceptance criteria, with senior PM review
- Track product KPIs (claims TAT, CRM case resolution time, adoption, data accuracy) using SQL/BI tooling
- Assist with backlog grooming, sprint planning inputs, and release communication to stakeholders
- Participate in discovery conversations with internal stakeholders (ops, claims, compliance, engineering)

What we're looking for
- 1-3 years of experience owning or supporting features/specs for a B2B or B2B2C product




- Comfortable reading schemas and API docs well enough to ask the right questions of engineering
- Clear written communication — able to draft specs that need minimal back-and-forth after review
- Working SQL skills and comfort with a BI/analytics tool
- Eagerness to work hands-on with a small, quick-moving engineering team

Good to have
- Prior internship or early-career experience as a software engineer, QA, or business/product analyst
- Exposure to claims administration or insurance operations workflows
- Familiarity with MongoDB-backed or similarly document-oriented product data models
- Experience contributing to structured BRD/PRD-style specs for engineering handoff

Preferred domain experience
- Experience in health insurance, insurance technology (insurtech), healthcare technology, fintech, or another regulated industry is a plus, not required
- Any prior exposure to Third-Party Administrator (TPA) operations — cashless/reimbursement claims, provider networks, or member enrollment — is a strong plus
