About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Regional Visual Merchandising - North India to drive the visual identity and in-store customer experience across Nykaas retail network in the region.

The role will be responsible for translating Nykaas brand vision, seasonal campaigns, launches, and commercial priorities into compelling retail experiences. The ideal candidate will combine a strong eye for aesthetics with commercial understanding, operational rigour, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across a large and diverse regional network. This is a high-impact role that requires close collaboration with Retail Operations, Marketing, Brand Partnerships, Projects, Category, and Commercial teams to ensure consistent and impactful execution across stores.

Candidate Profile

- 6-12 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, Retail Experience, Store Design, or Retail Operations, preferably within beauty, fashion, lifestyle, luxury, or consumer retail.
- Robust understanding of Indian retail markets, particularly North India.
- Experience managing VM across a multi-store / multi-city retail network.
- Proven ability to manage regional teams, agencies, vendors, and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong commercial orientation with the ability to connect visual merchandising with business outcomes.
- Excellent understanding of retail trends, consumer behaviour, display principles, and brand storytelling.
- Strong project management and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the North India region.

Key Responsibilities 1. Regional Visual Merchandising Strategy

- Own and drive the VM strategy for North India in line with Nykaas overall brand and retail objectives.
- Translate national VM guidelines, campaigns, launches, and brand priorities into effective regional execution.
- Develop regional VM plans based on store formats, customer profiles, local market dynamics, and commercial priorities.




- Ensure consistency of Nykaas visual identity across all stores while allowing for relevant regional adaptations.

2. Store & Campaign Execution

- Lead the end-to-end execution of seasonal campaigns, new launches,

promotional events, festivals, and brand activations across the region.
- Ensure timely implementation of window displays, gondolas, fixtures,

planograms, signage, point-of-sale materials, and promotional communication.
- Conduct regular store visits and VM audits to identify gaps and drive corrective action.

• Maintain high standards of visual presentation, hygiene, display quality, navigation, and brand storytelling.

3. Commercial & Customer Experience

• Partner with Retail and Category teams to ensure VM initiatives support sales, conversion, basket size, and product visibility.

- Use store insights and commercial data to evaluate the effectiveness of VM executions.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer navigation, discovery, product education, and overall shopping experience.
- Create differentiated VM approaches for flagship, high-street, mall, and other relevant store formats.

4. Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor the regional VM team and ensure clear ownership across the North India network.

- Work closely with Retail Operations, Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, Store Design, Projects, and Brand teams.
- Manage external VM agencies, vendors, fabricators, and execution partners.
- Ensure effective communication of VM guidelines, timelines, priorities, and execution standards to all stakeholders.

5. VM Operations & Governance

• Develop regional execution calendars and ensure adherence to campaign timelines.

- Manage VM-related budgets, material requirements, and vendor coordination.
- Monitor inventory and availability of VM collateral and fixtures.
- Establish regular reporting mechanisms covering execution quality, store compliance, campaign effectiveness, and regional VM initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in VM processes, tools, and execution standards.
