- Excellent technical knowledge of tax structuring, tax due diligence and SPA review, along with International Tax concepts, to understand one or more specialized areas of work
- Experience in inbound/outbound investment structuring, treaty analysis and withholding tax implications, capital gains analysis on share transfers/exits, and group reorganization/business restructuring advisory, gained from working on M&A; tax in any jurisdiction (e.g. India, US), which is transferable to a UAE M&A; engagement
- Working knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax Law as relevant to M&A; transactions would be an added advantage, though not mandatory
- Reviewing tax due diligence reports and SPA tax review notes, ensuring the efficient and risk managed delivery of M&A; tax advisory services
- Supporting the clients on various M&A; tax advisory matters including tax structuring, tax due diligence and SPA review
- Working on bespoke tax structuring and M&A; tax advisory projects, including deal tax modelling and funding/repatriation planning
- Assisting the tax management in the interpretation of tax laws for planning and structuring in the context of M&A; transactions
- Preparing of supporting schedules by analyzing backing documentation fully
- Applying OECD concepts and technical expertise in resolving client challenges
- Serving as a point of contact, working closely with the clients to understand business developments, ensuring they are up to date with their compliance obligations and legislative changes, helping them assess the impact for them and keeping abreast of opportunities
- Working with a excellent team of like-minded colleagues all focused on supporting each other to perform at their best
- Deal with all general correspondence in a timely manner ensuring that clients have an effective and efficient service
- Review and challenge work done by the AMs/Managers on tax structuring memos, tax due diligence reports and SPA tax review notes, and help develop their skills and experience
- Prepare good quality pitch documents using digital tools
- Developing account management skills and nurturing good client relationships while providing technical updates to clients
- Being responsible for reviewing the billing proposals for the relevant Director / Partner
- Complete all mandatory compliance training by the required deadline
- Ability to work under deadlines and demanding client conditions
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrates high professional ethics
- Solid critical thinking, analytical and decision-making skills
- Adaptable, willing to learn and comfortable working in a dynamic environment

- Act as a team player and provide extended support to Manager/Associate Director in meeting varied business requirements
- Good experience in working on M&A; tax advisory assignments including tax structuring, tax due diligence and SPA review, gained in any tax jurisdiction (e.g. India, US, UAE). Excellent exposure and understanding of concepts of international tax as relevant to cross-border M&A; transactions. Prior UAE M&A; tax experience is an added advantage but not mandatory.
