General Description Of Role We’re looking for an experienced client‑facing leader to help us take Aon’s general insurance pricing technology offering to the next level. If you enjoy working at the intersection of people, technology and analytics, this role offers the chance to make a visible impact across the (re)insurance market.
You’ll join a tight‑knit, friendly team that brings together actuarial expertise and software development capabilities, working in close partnership to drive adoption of Aon’s Pricing Platform. As a key member of this team, you’ll play a central role in meeting and exceeding client expectations by leading teams that deliver high‑quality, cutting‑edge pricing solutions and projects.
This role will encompass a wide variety of work. Initially, your responsibilities will include:
- Actuarial Solution Design and Technical Leadership
- Lead the design of pricing technology solutions that address complex client requirements across insurance and reinsurance markets.
- Translate actuarial methodologies,
pricing processes and business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure actuarial concepts are accurately represented within technology solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert on pricing methodologies, modelling approaches and actuarial best practice.
- Review and Governance
- Review actuarial models, system configurations and technical deliverables to ensure they meet expected actuarial, technical and commercial standards.
- Provide oversight and challenge to pricing methodologies, assumptions and modelling approaches implemented within client solutions.
- Support the development of best practice standards, quality assurance processes and governance frameworks across the pricing technology offering.
- Client Delivery and Advisory
- Lead client workshops to understand business objectives, pricing challenges and system requirements.
- Provide trusted actuarial and technical guidance throughout the design, implementation and adoption of pricing solutions.
- Support user training, onboarding and long-term client success.
- Business Growth and Team Development
- Support business development activities through demonstrations, proofs of concept and thought leadership.
- Contribute to the development of junior colleagues through coaching, mentoring and technical leadership.
- Help build Aon's reputation as a leading provider of actuarial technology and pricing transformation services.

Required Education And Certifications Critical For The Role
- Numerate degree such as Mathematics / Statistics / Economics
- Qualified or nearly-qualified actuary (IFoA, IAI, CAS, SOA or equivalent), with strong experience in P&C; insurance pricing
Required Experience For The Role
- Minimum work experience of 7 years in Consulting or Insurance companies
- Of this, a minimum 3 years' experience in P&C; pricing, pricing transformation, pricing analytics, or actuarial technology delivery
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- Experience translating actuarial requirements into functional and technical specifications for software development teams.
- Experience working directly with technology teams to design, develop or implement actuarial systems and solutions
- Demonstrable experience reviewing actuarial models, methodologies and technical deliverables.
- Interest in the application of AI and advanced analytics within pricing and actuarial workflows.
- Experience with Python, SQL, R or other analytical programming languages
- Clear and inclusive communicator who adapts their style to different audiences and builds positive, trust‑based relationships
- A self-motivated team player that works collaboratively
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
