Role: Associate Data Visualization Developer

Boeing Test and Evaluation team is currently looking for one Associate Data Visualization Developer to join their team in Bengaluru, KA. Test & Evaluation engineers at Boeing make sure that products at the world's largest aerospace company continue to meet the highest standards. From quality and reliability, to safety and performance, their expertise is vital to the concept, design and certifications of a wide variety of commercial and military systems.

Position Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for generating insight from structured and unstructured data for the business and strategic initiatives. As a data visualization expert, candidate will contribute in accelerating the deployment and improvement of Analytical Services in close cooperation with peers, internal experts and business clients. In particular, the role will involve generating business insight using data analytics and information visualization methods to answer business problems in different subject areas.

This position is part of an organization that is working to harness large datasets to solve complex problems directly impacting product quality, safety and cost.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Translate business objectives into analytic approaches in terms of visualizations, and identify data sources to support analysis.

- Perform exploratory data analysis using various tools such as Excel, Tableau, and R.





- Designing Business Intelligence information dashboards, metrics and reports utilizing standard technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives and solutions.

- Drive client engagements focused on Business Analytics, in diverse subject areas, by designing visualizations, identifying KPIs with sound analytical & conceptual skills aligned to business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

- Proficiency in Tableau Dashboard development of at-least 2 years along with Tableau Server

- Valuable experience in data extraction and processing, using SQL.

Experience writing complex cross-tabular SQL queries is required.

- Must have the ability to work independently with overseas stakeholders to understand the data visualization requirements, analyze the available data sources, extract relevant data needed for visualizations and propose multiple visualization options to facilitate selection

- Ability to propose creative solutions beyond regular visualizations

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

- Experience in programming languages such as R/Python is advantageous to be able to derive the data needed for specific analysis

- Experience in developing web based data visualizations using technologies including MVC, Angular and D3.JS is advantageous.

- Experience with other visualization tools like PowerBI, Qlikview would be an added advantage

- Should be a Self-starter and a quick learner

- Should have worked in an Agile methodology is a plus, but not mandatory

- Should have excellent communication skills both written and oral.

Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+2 years' related work experience.
