Role & responsibilities To ensure safe, timely, compliant, and cost-effective transportation services for crew members by managing transport operations, vendor performance, compliance monitoring, operational reporting, stakeholder communication, and process improvement initiatives. The role is critical in supporting uninterrupted flight operations by maintaining high transport service standards and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transport Planning & Service Delivery

- Ensure timely vehicle placement for all crew transportation requirements.
- Monitor trip execution continuously and coordinate with transport vendors for planned and last-minute requests.
- Support uninterrupted crew movement and ensure zero transport-related flight delays.
- Maintain transport readiness through proactive planning.
- Optimize vehicle utilization and maximize crew clubbing opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyse clubbing trends and provide reports with recommendations.
- Manage transport-related escalations promptly and drive closure within defined timelines.
- Ensure timely communication with all relevant stakeholders during operational contingencies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Adhere to all company safety, security, and transport SOPs.

2. Vendor Performance & Compliance Management

- Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels and contractual obligations.
- Track compliance of drivers and vehicles, including licenses, permits, insurance, fitness certificates, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and compliance audits.
- Address vendor-related concerns and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain compliance records and ensure adherence to company safety and regulatory standards.

3. MIS, Reporting & Operational Control





- Prepare and maintain accurate transport MIS and operational reports.
- Monitor daily transport performance.
- Maintain compliance trackers and operational dashboards.
- Analyse transport utilization, guard deployment, and trip trends to support operational decision-making.
- Generate periodic reports for management review and performance monitoring.

4. Automation, Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement

- Support successful implementation and stabilization of transport automation initiatives.
- Drive process improvement projects focused on reducing manual effort and enhancing productivity.
- Recommend and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality or safety.
- Identify redundant processes and improve workflow efficiency through technology and process redesign.
- Track benefits realized from automation and improvement projects.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience in transport operations, crew logistics, airline operations, travel management, fleet coordination, or vendor management.
- Knowledge of transport compliance requirements, vendor management, and operational control processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to prepare MIS reports and performance dashboards.
- Exposure to transport management systems.
