Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City, responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a Swiggy Instamart store. This role includes supervising store staff, managing inventory levels, ensuring timely order processing, and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work workplace.

Manager helps monitor performance metrics, implements standard operating procedures, and supports compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Responsibilities also include resolving customer or partner issues,



coordinating with delivery teams, and assisting in training and scheduling store personnel. The role requires close collaboration with the Store Manager and cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets and deliver a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in retail, warehouse, or store operations, including supervision of frontline staff and shift management.
- Strong organizational skills for inventory handling, order fulfillment, and tracking store performance metrics.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic proficiency with digital tools and point-of-sale or inventory management systems, and comfort working with technology-driven processes.
- Problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges, address customer concerns, and support continuous process improvement.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, retail management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in quick-commerce, e-commerce, or fast-paced service environments in Pune or similar urban markets is an advantage.
