Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role in Mathematics, English, and Commerce based at the Hanumangarh campus.

The Assistant

Professor will deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials; design and update course materials; and assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and projects. Daily responsibilities include mentoring students, providing academic advising, and maintaining high standards of classroom engagement and discipline. The role also involves contributing to curriculum enhancement, participating in departmental meetings,



engaging in scholarly activities, and supporting university events and initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong teaching skills in English Teaching and general Teaching, with the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment strategies.
- Candidates should possess subject knowledge in English Literature and Literature, along with the ability to integrate contemporary and classical texts.
- Advanced academic qualification such as a master’s degree or PhD in Mathematics, English, Commerce, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Excellent communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a student-centered approach to pedagogy.
- Willingness to participate in research, publications, and academic outreach, and to contribute to the holistic development of students.
- Familiarity with educational technology, learning management systems, and modern teaching methodologies is highly beneficial.
