Role Description The Assistant Professor (Computer Science Engineering Only) will deliver high-quality, classroom-based instruction to undergraduate and postgraduate learners at FACE Prep’s Chennai location. This full-time, on-site role involves designing and delivering lectures, practical sessions, and workshops aligned with current industry standards in computer science and related domains. The position includes developing and updating course materials, evaluating student performance through assignments, projects, and exams, and providing mentoring and guidance for placement and career preparation.

The Assistant

Professor will collaborate with other faculty to refine curricula, contribute to academic and training initiatives,



and integrate real-world case studies and emerging technologies into teaching. Additional responsibilities may include supporting academic events, participating in faculty development, and contributing to research or content creation that enhances FACE Prep’s learning ecosystem.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Computer Science Engineering, with the ability to teach core subjects and advanced topics.
- Proficiency in Programming (such as C, C++, Java, Python or similar languages) and practical experience in software development or related projects.
- Skills in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, course materials, assessments, and learning activities aligned with industry needs.
- Domain expertise or teaching experience in Data Science and Cybersecurity, with the ability to introduce learners to current tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Relevant academic qualifications, typically a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Effective classroom management, pedagogical, and communication skills, with a learner-centered teaching approach.
- Ability to use digital tools and learning platforms for teaching, assessment, and student engagement.
- Experience mentoring students for placements, technical interviews, coding contests, or industry certifications is an advantage.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in computer science.
