Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role in Anesthesia and OT Technology based in Hyderabad.

The Assistant

Professor will deliver classroom and laboratory instruction, develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with institutional and industry standards.

Responsibilities include mentoring students, supervising clinical and simulation-based training, and ensuring adherence to safety and ethical practices in anesthesia and operating theatre procedures. The role involves participating in curriculum development, collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching methodologies, engaging in academic administration as needed, and contributing to academic events, workshops, and seminars that support skill-based learning.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic qualifications in Anesthesia, OT Technology,



or related allied health/medical disciplines (Master’s degree or equivalent required; PhD or clinical fellowship preferred).
- Relevant clinical experience in anesthesia and operating theatre technology, with strong knowledge of protocols, patient safety, and equipment handling.
- Demonstrated teaching or training experience in higher education or skilled settings, including lesson planning, student evaluation, and academic mentoring.
- Ability to design and deliver skill-based curricula aligned with industry standards, and collaborate with partners to integrate practical training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse learners and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and use of modern teaching tools and technology.
- Familiarity with competency-based education, outcome-based assessments, and regulatory requirements in healthcare education is an advantage.
- Registration with relevant professional bodies and valid licenses (where applicable) will be considered a plus.
