Job Summary

Mercy Hospital is looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Nursing Superintendent to support the Nursing Superintendent in managing nursing services and ensuring high-quality patient care. The role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to effectively coordinate nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising nursing services across departments
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and quality standards
- Monitor patient care services to maintain safety and excellence
- Supervise, guide, and evaluate nursing staff performance
- Coordinate staff scheduling, duty allocation, and manpower management
- Support training and development programs for nursing staff
- Address patient and family concerns professionally
- Maintain records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams for effective patient care





Requirements

- B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution
- Valid nursing registration/license
- Minimum 10 year experience in the role of Assistant Nursing Superintendent
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle responsibilities efficiently

Preferred Skills

- Experience in hospital administration and quality standards
- Knowledge of NABH accreditation processes
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
