Sportstech is strengthening its in-house paid search team, and Microsoft Advertising is an important growth channel alongside Google Ads.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Microsoft Bing Ads who will take end-to-end ownership of Microsoft Advertising across key European markets, including DACH, France, Italy, and Spain.

The role will focus on building Microsoft Ads into a profitable and efficiently managed acquisition channel across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and Copilot placements.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and manage Microsoft Advertising end-to-end, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and Copilot placements.
- Manage campaigns across multiple European markets with accountability for advertising spend and return.
- Expand Bing coverage by intelligently importing and adapting campaigns from Google Ads instead of using direct copy-paste approaches.
- Optimize campaigns specifically for Microsoft audiences and platform behaviour.
- Manage the Microsoft Merchant Center product feed, including feed quality, structure, disapprovals, and optimization.
- Set and achieve performance targets across ROAS, CPA, and KUR.
- Manage and pace budgets across campaigns and markets.
- Manage AI Max and Copilot campaigns using the right assets, audience signals, exclusions, and advertising copy.
- Own and maintain accurate Microsoft UET conversion tracking and align it with the broader measurement setup.
- Run structured tests across bidding strategies, ad copy, audiences, and product-feed variants.
- Analyse results and continuously optimize campaign performance.
- Coordinate with Google Ads owners and the Creative & Localization team to maintain consistency across paid search channels.
- Translate campaign and performance data into clear recommendations for the Head of Performance Marketing.





Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on paid search experience within e-commerce or online retail.
- Direct experience managing Microsoft Advertising / Bing Ads, or strong Google Ads expertise with the ability to independently manage Microsoft Ads.
- Strong understanding of Shopping campaigns and product feeds.
- Experience managing Merchant Center environments and product-feed performance.
- Valuable knowledge of conversion tracking, UET, GA4, bidding strategies, budget management, and paid-search account structures.
- Strong analytical and data-driven approach to campaign optimization.
- Comfortable working with performance data, spreadsheets, and structured testing frameworks.
- Ability to independently manage accounts and take ownership of performance.
- Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to Have
- German language skills for the DACH market.
- Experience managing paid search campaigns across multiple European markets.
- Knowledge of Google Ads scripts and feed-management tools.
- Experience importing or synchronizing accounts between Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
- Background in sports, fitness, consumer goods, or e-commerce.

How Success Will Be Measured Success in this role will be evaluated based on:
- ROAS, CPA, and KUR performance against targets
- Incremental volume generated through Microsoft Bing
- Growth of in-house managed advertising spend
- Account health and campaign quality
- Product-feed quality and stability
- Tracking accuracy and integrity
- Speed and quality of campaign testing and optimization
