Role Description The Assistant Manager role at M CARS is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Chennai Area. In this role, the Assistant Manager supports daily showroom operations, including coordinating vehicle display and presentation, assisting with sales processes, and ensuring a smooth customer journey from initial inquiry to delivery.

The position involves supervising and guiding team members, monitoring performance, and helping implement sales strategies and promotional activities.

and collaborates with senior management to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in retail or automobile sales operations, with strong skills in customer service and client relationship management.
- Ability to support and coordinate team activities, including basic people management, task delegation, and performance follow-up.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including handling documentation, maintaining records, and supporting inventory control.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and CRM or sales software; willingness to learn and adapt to recent systems.
- Proactive problem-solving approach, attention to detail, and a focus on delivering a high-quality customer experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Prior experience in the automotive or luxury retail sector is an advantage, along with knowledge of local market dynamics in the Greater Chennai Area.
