Role Overview

Chandigarh University is looking for an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager – HR to join the Human Resources team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and stakeholder management, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day **HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Handle onboarding, documentation, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Support end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
- Manage employee queries and support effective employee relations.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and HR activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies, processes, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders on HR-related matters.




- Support performance management and appraisal processes.
- Ensure adherence to institutional HR policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.

Candidate Profile

- *Minimum 4+ years of relevant HR experience.
- MBA in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
