Role Overview

Chandigarh University is looking for an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager HR to join the Human Resources team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and stakeholder management, with the ability to manage responsibilities independently in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Handle onboarding, documentation, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
- Support end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
- Manage employee queries and support effective employee relations.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and HR activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies, processes, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders on HR-related matters.




- Support performance management and appraisal processes.
- Ensure adherence to institutional HR policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 4+ years of relevant HR experience.
- MBA in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
