Job Summary:

Sky Ocean Shipping is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to support the Accounts & Finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations and financial activities. The ideal candidate should have robust accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Accounts Manager in managing daily accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
- Perform bank, customer, supplier, and ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting statements.
- Monitor receivables, payables, expenses, and cash flow.
- Verify accounting entries, invoices, and supporting documents.




- Assist with audits and VAT/tax-related activities.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, banks, auditors, and internal departments.
- Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of financial records.
- Support the Accounts Manager in other finance-related activities as required.

Requirements:



- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong reconciliation, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
