Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assembly Fitter responsible for mechanical assembly, installation, alignment, and fitting of machine components and sub-assemblies as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

- Perform mechanical assembly and fitting of machine components and sub-assemblies.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and dimensional specifications.
- Perform fitting operations such as filing, drilling, tapping, reaming, grinding, and deburring.
- Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring instruments.
- Carry out machine alignment, leveling, and component positioning as per required accuracy.
- Check dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure proper fitment, clearances, tolerances, and alignment of components.
- Identify assembly defects, dimensional mismatches, and fitting-related issues and coordinate with the concerned department for correction.




- Follow BOM, work instructions, SOPs, and quality requirements during assembly.
- Handle machine components safely during assembly and movement.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S, PPE, safety, and workplace discipline.
- Support testing, trial runs, and final inspection of assembled machines.
- Maintain required assembly records and report issues to the supervisor.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting and machine assembly.
- Ability to read mechanical/engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of tolerances, fits, clearances, and GD&T; basics.
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of various fasteners, bearings, shafts, couplings, linear guides, and mechanical components.
- Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Knowledge of 5S and safety practices.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,072.31 per month
