Area Sales Manager Pet Care | Punjab & J&K;

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive profitable and sustainable sales growth for our Pet Care portfolio across Punjab and J&K;. The role will be responsible for distributor management, market expansion, secondary sales, retail/veterinary channel development, team management, collections, and execution of sales and promotional initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have experience in the Pet Care, Veterinary, FMCG, Pharma, or related industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual primary & secondary sales targets.
- Manage distributors and super stockists across Punjab and J&K.;
- Expand retail, pharmacy, veterinary, and institutional channel coverage.
- Identify current markets, outlets, and distribution opportunities.
- Lead, train, and mentor TSIs/Sales Officers.
- Conduct regular joint field working and monitor team performance.




- Execute trade schemes, promotions, and brand visibility initiatives.
- Monitor distributor stock, collections, outstanding, and credit discipline.
- Track competitor pricing, schemes, and market activities.
- Ensure accurate sales and field reporting through Bizom.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Marketing teams for effective market execution.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in any discipline; Science/Agriculture/Veterinary Science preferred.
- MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
- Experience in distributor-led secondary sales operations.
- Experience managing field sales teams and distributor networks.
- Candidates with Punjab & J&K; market experience will be preferred
