Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for managing sales operations within the assigned territory, including achieving revenue targets, expanding the customer base, and strengthening relationships with existing clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include visiting customers and channel partners, presenting product offerings, negotiating commercial terms, and monitoring market trends and competitor activities.

The Area Sales

Manager will prepare regular sales reports, forecast demand,



coordinate with internal teams for timely deliveries, and support marketing initiatives in the region. The role also involves training and guiding local sales representatives, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in area or regional sales management, preferably in industrial, mining, metals, or related sectors.
- Solid skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and territory development.
- Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and use basic sales and CRM tools effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to work independently on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the Mumbai region and nearby areas as required for business development.
