About Amaya Senior Living

Amaya is a thoughtfully planned premium senior-living community by Vera Vita, located beside the Kandlakoya Reserve Forest in Medchal, Hyderabad. The development brings together independent residences, hospitality, healthcare, wellness, dining, recreation and community spaces, with a strong emphasis on safety, accessibility, nature and quality of everyday living.

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Architect to join the Amaya project team. The role will involve supporting the design development, coordination and execution of the residential and community components of the project.

The ideal candidate should have solid architectural design skills, an understanding of construction and detailing, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and coordinate architectural drawings, layouts, details and design documentation.
- Assist with design development from concept through construction and project completion.
- Coordinate architectural requirements with structural, MEP, landscape, interiors and other consultants.
- Review drawings, specifications, material selections and technical submissions.
- Conduct regular site visits and monitor architectural execution against approved drawings and design intent.
- Identify design, detailing and execution issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Work closely with contractors, project management consultants and vendors during construction.
- Ensure that senior-friendly, accessible and safety-oriented design principles are incorporated into the project.
- Coordinate details related to wider passages, accessibility, anti-skid finishes, lighting, wayfinding, handrails, bathrooms and other senior-centric requirements.
- Assist in reviewing mock-ups,



samples and material approvals.
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions and other project documentation.
- Support statutory approvals and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings and project discussions.
- Work closely with the project leadership team to maintain design quality, timelines and project objectives.

Desired Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch).
- 23 years of relevant architectural experience, preferably in residential, hospitality, healthcare, senior living or large-scale developments.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing and construction practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit/BIM is preferred.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, Enscape/Lumion or similar visualization tools is an advantage.
- Good understanding of materials, finishes and construction detailing.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to read and review architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Good site-execution and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to design quality.

Preferred Candidate Experience with senior living, hospitality, healthcare, residential communities or accessibility-focused projects will be an advantage. The candidate should have an appreciation for designing environments that balance aesthetics, functionality, safety, dignity and ease of movement.
