Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts receivable calls to resolve customer queries, disputes, and issues related to medical billing.
- Handle denials by identifying root causes, appealing denied claims, and reducing write-offs.
- Perform revenue cycle management tasks such as verifying patient demographics, insurance information, and medical necessity for accurate coding.
- Analyze data reports to identify trends in accounts receivable aging and take proactive steps to improve cash flow.
Job Requirements :
- 1-5 years of experience in AR calling or similar role in US healthcare industry.
- Solid knowledge of denial management processes including appeal procedures and regulations.
- Proficiency in managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
