About The Job:
- This is an L1 & L2 Global Support role involving Incident Communication, Problem Follow-up, and Cross-Functional Coordination to provide support for both Asia and Europe regions.
- The position is part of a support team for Cash Management Banking applications deployed across Asia and EMEA, supporting:
- Payments – India Domestic
- Channels – Cash Management
- Financial Reporting – Local Regulators & Head Office
The solutions are built and supported from Paris, India, and Singapore.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure user requests and incidents are handled in a timely manner.
- Prioritize user requests based on urgency, criticality, and business context.
- Perform incident investigations and follow-up with third-party vendors when required.
- Drive resolution efforts, including identification of workarounds.
- Ensure efficient communication towards users, senior management, and IT stakeholders during incident management processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on technology, automation, tooling, and support process efficiency.
- Perform daily support activities, including sanity checks (morning/evening) and on-call duties.
- Support change requests, urgent data modifications, and production execution activities.
- Escalate issues when necessary while remaining the primary contact point for users.
- Drive sustainable resolutions and knowledge management practices.
- Ensure root causes are identified, remediation actions are defined, and problems are prioritized appropriately.
- Contribute to major incident reports and post-mortem reviews.
- Identify recurring incidents and advocate for bug fixes, feature development, or automation opportunities.
- Maintain and update support documentation.
- Act as the preferred IT Run communication channel for all stakeholders.
- Participate in major events such as Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery exercises, and Production interventions.
- Coordinate with support engineers, users, and infrastructure stakeholders during critical events.
- Support complementary activities such as Testing or Business Analysis when part of the squad.
- Communicate technical issues in simple business-friendly language that is understandable to Operations and Business stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7 - 11 Years
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 4 years in Application Support with Banking Industry exposure
Mandatory Skills
- ITIL Incident Management.
- Banking Domain Experience.
- Basic Technical Skills including:
- SQL
- Unix
- Microservices
- CI/CD Tools
Required Skills

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage stress while maintaining empathy for end users.
- Experience leading transformation and implementation initiatives for Monitoring Tools and Automation.

- Experience aligning with senior management and leadership teams.
- Functional knowledge of similar banking application support environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience Requirements
- Total Experience: 7 to 11 Years.
- Minimum 4 years of Application Support experience with exposure to the Banking Industry.
