The Junior RPA, Automation & AI Analyst is an entry-level role supporting the delivery of process automation and operational efficiency initiatives within the ERP Tech Factory. Under the guidance of a Senior Analyst or the ERP Tech Factory Lead, this role contributes to the design, development, and deployment of RPA & automation solutions and AI-powered tools.
This role focuses on building core technical skills, executing assigned automation tasks, maintaining solution assets, and contributing to the Automation Factory's delivery pipeline. It serves as the foundational entry point into the RPA & Automation discipline, providing exposure to enterprise-scale automation, AI-powered tooling, and structured development practices.
Key Duties
Automation & AI Solution Development
- Develop and deploy automation solutions and AI-powered tools under senior guidance, executing assigned development tasks in accordance with established architectural standards and best practices.
- Build automations using RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, WePath) to reduce manual effort and support process efficiency across business functions.
- Support the configuration and testing of AI-powered tools, ensuring solutions are functional, reliable, and aligned with defined requirements.
- Participate in technical reviews and testing cycles, providing input on solution quality and flagging issues for senior review and resolution.
Asset Maintenance & Documentation
- Maintain and update reusable automation and AI solution assets, ensuring they remain accurate, functional, and consistent with the latest platform and process requirements.
- Document developed solutions, workflows, and operational procedures to support knowledge retention, team onboarding, and future maintainability.
- Follow established development frameworks, naming conventions, and version control practices to ensure all deliverables meet team quality standards.
- Support incident resolution for assigned automation solutions by performing root-cause analysis and implementing fixes under senior supervision.
Process Analysis Support
- Support the identification of automation and AI use case opportunities by analyzing process inefficiencies, repetitive manual tasks, and error-prone workflows.
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements, process flows, and use case specifications required for automation scoping and development.
- Contribute to the preparation of business case materials by collecting data on manual effort, processing volumes, and anticipated automation benefits.
- Translate business process knowledge into automation-ready specifications, supporting the pipeline from opportunity identification through to development handover.
Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with ERP Second Level Support, Third-Level Support Engineers, and Software Development/Platform Engineers to understand system context, data flows, and integration dependencies relevant to assigned automation tasks.
- Actively participate in team meetings, technical reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions, contributing observations and lessons learned from assigned deliverables.
- Pursue continuous learning in RPA platforms, AI tooling, and development practices, including relevant certifications (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate) to build technical depth.
- Coordinate submission of resolved issues, applied fixes, and process documentation to the broader team to support knowledge retention and operational continuity.
Qualification and Experience
Required:
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in RPA (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, WePath), process automation,[NS1.1] or AI tool development; fresh graduates with relevant project experience or internships will be considered.
- Basic experience automating business processes or working with ERP or enterprise platforms, including exposure to data entry, report generation, or workflow automation tasks.
- Foundational knowledge of RPA platform capabilities, AI tool development concepts, and how automation solutions are designed, built, and deployed in enterprise environments.
- Understanding of software development and release practices, including version control, testing principles, and structured delivery workflows (e.g., Agile, Kanban).
- Ability to translate business processes into automation-ready specifications with explicit steps, inputs, outputs, and exception-handling requirements.
- Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of accountability for assigned deliverables, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn and grow within a structured technical team.
Preferred:
- Exposure to Oracle EBS or similar ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), particularly in the context of process automation or data operations.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or Jira Cloud for task tracking, incident management, or agile delivery workflows.
- Relevant certifications or training in RPA platforms, such as UiPath Foundation, Microsoft Power Automate Fundamentals, or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
- Background or academic exposure in computer science, information systems,
business process management, or a related technical discipline.
Key Performance Indicators
