We are seeking an API & Kafka Developer with hands-on experience in API development, event-driven architecture, Kafka-based messaging, and microservices. The candidate should have solid knowledge of Apache Kafka, API Development, Java, Spring, Event-Driven Architecture, and Microservices.
The candidate will be responsible for developing APIs and implementing real-time event-driven integrations using Kafka.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain REST APIs using Java and Spring.
- Design and implement Kafka-based event-driven applications.
- Develop Kafka producers and consumers.
- Configure topics, partitions, consumer groups, and message processing.
- Integrate Kafka with microservices and enterprise applications.
- Ensure reliable and scalable message processing.
- Monitor Kafka applications and troubleshoot messaging issues.
- Implement error handling and retry mechanisms.
- Develop APIs for data exchange between systems.
- Participate in application design and architecture discussions.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Work with DevOps teams for deployment and monitoring.
- Maintain technical documentation.
