Role Description This full-time remote Android Developer role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality Android applications.

The Android

Developer will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement features, refine user flows, and ensure a seamless mobile experience. Daily tasks include writing clean and efficient Kotlin/Java code, integrating APIs and backend services, optimizing app performance, and adhering to Android design guidelines. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, conducting code reviews, participating in agile ceremonies,



and contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvement of development practices.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and building robust Mobile Applications.
- Hands-on experience with Android Development and Software Development in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Ability to create intuitive interfaces following Android Design principles and best practices.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and common libraries and frameworks (e.g., Jetpack, Retrofit, Room).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and team-oriented development workflows.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, debugging tools, and performance optimization on Android.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) is a plus.
