About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/LLM Engineer with strong expertise in Python to join our dynamic team remotely. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about designing, developing, and deploying large language model (LLM)-powered applications and AI systems at scale. As a key member of our engineering community, you will take ownership of end-to-end AI solutions—from initial prototyping to production deployment.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Python programming,



with proven experience in backend development frameworks such as FastAPI. You should have hands-on experience working with LLM APIs from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar, along with familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex. A solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, embeddings, and vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector is essential.

Experience with containerization tools such as Docker, and data stores including PostgreSQL and Redis, is required. Candidates should demonstrate competence in writing comprehensive functional and integration tests, especially for evaluating AI/LLM output quality. Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment are also crucial.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy LLM-powered features and applications utilizing Python, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Create and maintain backend services and APIs, such as those built with FastAPI, to expose AI capabilities to various systems.
- Build, optimize, and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including embeddings, vector search, and retrieval strategies.
- Design, test, and refine prompts, agents, and orchestration workflows using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex to enhance AI performance.




- Integrate with multiple LLM providers and manage API tradeoffs related to cost, latency, and output quality.
- Develop tooling and metrics to systematically evaluate model outputs for accuracy, safety, and regression testing across iterations.
- Work within containerized environments and manage data infrastructure, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and vector databases, to support reliable AI systems in production.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, translating ambiguous product requirements into technically sound AI solutions.
