About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/LLM Engineer with strong expertise in Python to join our dynamic team. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work on pioneering AI applications that leverage large language models (LLMs) at scale. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered features and systems that enhance our products and services.

Your work will involve building backend services, optimizing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and integrating with leading LLM providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex product requirements into robust AI solutions, taking ownership from initial prototyping to production deployment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI, and who are passionate about creating scalable, reliable,



and innovative AI systems that deliver real-world impact.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Python development and have hands-on experience working with LLM APIs and frameworks. They should demonstrate proficiency in backend development using FastAPI or similar frameworks, with a solid understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases.

Experience with containerized environments such as Docker, as well as familiarity with data stores like PostgreSQL and Redis, is essential. Candidates should have a proven track record of writing comprehensive functional and integration tests, especially for evaluating AI/LLM output quality. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required.

The ability to work independently in a quick-paced remote environment and collaborate effectively with diverse teams across different time zones is crucial.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy LLM-powered features and applications utilizing Python and relevant frameworks.
- Create and maintain backend APIs and services (e.g., FastAPI) that expose AI capabilities to other systems and applications.
- Develop and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, including embeddings, vector search, and retrieval strategies.
- Design, test, and refine prompts, agents, and orchestration workflows using frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Integrate with various LLM providers and APIs, managing tradeoffs related to cost, latency, and output quality.




- Implement systematic evaluation frameworks to assess model outputs for accuracy, safety, and regression testing across iterations.
- Work within containerized environments and manage data infrastructure, including PostgreSQL, Redis, and vector databases, to ensure reliable deployment of AI systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand product needs and translate them into technically sound AI solutions.
