About the Role

We're looking for an AI Software Engineer who blends strong backend engineering

(PHP/Laravel) with two complementary AI skill sets:

- Building AI-powered products — integrating LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, and AI agents into real applications.
- Practicing AI-Driven Development (AIDLC) — using AI coding assistants and automation (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT) throughout the development lifecycle to design, code, test, review, and document software faster and more reliably.

This isn't just "an AI engineer" or "a Laravel developer" — it's someone who ships production Laravel applications and uses AI tools as a core part of how they work, while also building AI capabilities into the product itself.

You'll work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to design, develop,

integrate, and maintain intelligent software solutions — end to end.

Key Responsibilities

AI Product Development

- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and features.
- Integrate OpenAI, LLMs, Generative AI models, and third-party AI APIs into

business applications.
- Build AI agents, chatbots, automation workflows, and intelligent assistants.
- Work with prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI

pipelines.
- Evaluate and optimize AI models for accuracy, performance, reliability, and

cost. AI-Driven Development (AIDLC)
- Use AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT) to

accelerate design, coding, refactoring, and documentation.
- Apply AI-assisted code review, test generation, and debugging to improve code





quality and delivery speed.
- Build and refine internal prompts/workflows that make AI-assisted development

safer, faster, and more consistent across the team.
- Balance AI-generated output with sound engineering judgment — reviewing,

validating, and owning everything that ships.

Backend Engineering

- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Design efficient data models, queries, and database schemas.
- Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and testable code.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.

Collaboration
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product,

engineering, and ops stakeholders.
- Stay current on Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, AIDLC tooling, and software

development practices.

Required Technical Skills

within a team

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, AI, or related field (or equivalent

practical experience).
- 3–6 years of professional software development experience, including relevant

AI/ML or Generative AI work.
- Demonstrable, hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools in real projects

(not just casual/occasional use).
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills; solid grasp of SDLC and coding

best practices.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced

environment.
