AI & Automation Intern

Roles & Responsibilities: As an AI Automation Intern, you will play a hands on role in designing, building, and deploying AI powered automation workflows and chatbot solutions. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to integrate large language model (LLM) APIs, such as the Gemini API, into production grade applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of full stack development and artificial intelligence, and who is eager to solve real world problems with emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- AI Chatbot Development: Design, develop,



and deploy AI based chatbots by integrating the Gemini API (or equivalent LLM APIs) into web and mobile applications.
- API Integration: Build and manage RESTful API integrations between internal systems and third party AI services, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance.
- Full Stack Development:Contribute to end to end feature development across the stack (frontend, backend, and database) using technologies such as the MERN stack or equivalent frameworks.
- Automation Workflows: Identify repetitive business processes and design intelligent automation solutions using AI tools and scripting.
- Database Management: Work with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar) to design schemas, write queries, and manage data pipelines that feed into AI systems.
- Testing & Documentation: Write clean, well documented code; participate in code reviews; and develop unit and integration tests for AI driven features.
- Research & Prototyping: Stay updated on the latest developments in AI/ML and rapidly prototype new ideas to evaluate feasibility for product integration.
- Collaboration: Work in an agile environment, actively participate in standups, sprint planning, and cross functional discussions with designers and product managers.
- AI Tools: Must have basic knowledge of modern AI development tools such as Antigravity, Claude Code, Claude Skills, and similar platforms that accelerate AI powered application development.

Required Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology,



or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) and hands on experience consuming and integrating third party APIs, particularly AI/LLM APIs such as the Gemini API, OpenAI API, or similar.
- Must have built at least one full stack project using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) or any equivalent technology stack that demonstrates both database integration and AI/ML integration.
- Solid grasp of AI and machine learning fundamentals, including prompt engineering, model fine tuning concepts, and working with AI generated outputs in a production context.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub) and collaborative development workflows.

Nice to Have

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deploying AI services.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices.
- Exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) or Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
- Contributions to open source projects or a strong portfolio on GitHub.
- Prior internship or freelance experience in a software development or AI/ML role.
