Job Title: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) System Architect
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of scalable and high-performance solutions using the AEM platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in AEM, extensive knowledge of content management systems (CMS), and the ability to architect, design, and oversee complex digital experiences. As an AEM Architect, you will collaborate closely with development teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure AEM solutions are effectively integrated and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- - Architect AEM Solutions: Design, develop, and implement AEM-based solutions to meet complex business and technical requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Technical Leadership: Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed for AEM development, including coding standards, security, and performance.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze technical needs, and provide solutions aligned with business goals.
- Integration Management: Lead the integration of AEM with various third-party systems, including CRM, analytics, and e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct performance tuning, load balancing, and optimization for AEM implementations, ensuring a high level of application performance and reliability.
- Custom Component Development:
Oversee the development of custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and services to support personalized content delivery.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment procedures.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication: Engage with clients and stakeholders to present AEM architecture strategies, status updates, and solution demonstrations.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with AEM and related technologies, recommending improvements and new features that can enhance overall system efficiency.
Qualifications
- - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and implementing solutions on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform.
- Solid hands-on experience with AEM 6.x and above, including authoring, publishing, and dispatcher environments.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, OSGi frameworks, Apache Sling, JCR, and RESTful APIs.
- Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Experience integrating AEM with third-party services and enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, DAM, ERP).
- Skills:
- Expertise in building responsive, dynamic websites and applications on AEM.
- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Adobe Managed Services.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Preferred
- - AEM certification.
- Knowledge of other Adobe products like Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Campaign.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
