Role Description This is a full time, on-site Admissions Counselor role based in Lucknow.

The Admissions

Counselor will guide prospective students and their families through the college and course selection process, providing accurate information about institutions, programs, eligibility, and admissions procedures. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions (in-person and telephonic), responding to inquiries, maintaining detailed records of interactions, and following up with leads to support informed decision-making.



The role involves collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to improve outreach, participating in events or seminars, and ensuring a high standard of customer service.

Admissions

Counselors are expected to stay updated on educational trends, entrance exams, and institutional offerings to deliver relevant and trustworthy guidance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and partners.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive counseling experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert inquiries into enrollments ethically and support organizational growth.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, such as familiarity with Indian higher education systems, courses, and admission processes.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency in English and Hindi, basic computer and CRM skills, the ability to present information clearly, and a bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, business, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality in student data is required.
