About the Role

Simpel Techlabs Private Limited is looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team in Bengaluru.

The candidate will be responsible for connecting with prospective students, parents, and interested learners, understanding their educational and career interests, counselling them about our programs, and converting leads into paid course enrollments.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Robotics, AI, STEM education, or emerging technologies and should be comfortable explaining the value and applications of robotics courses to students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to prospective students, parents, and leads.
- Understand the student's interests, educational background, and learning requirements.
- Explain our Robotics and technology-focused courses, workshops, and training programs.
- Counsel students and parents on suitable courses based on their interests and career goals.
- Clearly communicate course curriculum, duration, fees, benefits, projects, and career opportunities.
- Follow up with interested candidates through calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Convert qualified leads into paid course enrollments.
- Handle enquiries and resolve basic questions related to courses and admissions.
- Maintain proper records of calls, follow-ups, leads, and enrolments in the CRM/lead management system.
- Achieve monthly counselling, conversion, and enrollment targets.
- Build a positive relationship with students and parents throughout the admission process.
- Coordinate with the academic/training team for student onboarding after enrollment.




- Stay updated about our Robotics programs, workshops, course offerings, and upcoming batches.

Required Skills

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with students and parents.
- Good convincing and sales skills.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Strong follow-up and lead-conversion abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Robotics is mandatory.
- Interest in Robotics, AI, STEM, IoT, electronics, or emerging technologies is highly preferred.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them in simple language.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
- Positive attitude, confidence, and willingness to learn.

Who Can Apply?

- Freshers with good communication and a strong interest in Robotics are welcome.
- Candidates with up to 1 year of experience in academic counselling, tele-calling, inside sales, education sales, admissions, or business development are preferred.
- Candidates who have previously worked with EdTech, Robotics, STEM, coding, or technology training companies will have an advantage.

Compensation Salary: Up to ₹20,000 per month

Salary will be based on the candidate's skills, communication ability, relevant experience, and interview performance.
