Role Description The Admission Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Aakash centre in Kozhikode.

The Admission

Officer will interact with prospective students and families, provide detailed information about courses and programs, and guide them through the admission process from inquiry to enrollment. Daily responsibilities include responding to walk-in and phone inquiries, conducting counseling sessions, managing application forms and documentation, and coordinating with academic and administrative teams to ensure smooth onboarding.



The role involves maintaining accurate records of leads and admissions, following up with prospective applicants, and supporting local marketing and outreach activities to increase enrolment.

Officer is expected to uphold AESL’s student-centric approach by delivering high-quality customer service and representing the institution professionally at all times.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students and families.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide timely support.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of education and admission processes; experience in international admissions is an added advantage.

- Relevant experience in admissions, counseling, or front-office roles in the education sector is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, management, or related fields is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, manage multiple tasks, use basic computer applications, and maintain accurate records.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and a student-focused mindset aligned with AESL’s values.
