Job Summary

Shridhar University, Pilani is looking for an experienced and capable Admin Officer to manage administrative operations, infrastructure-related activities, projects, vendors, and institutional requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong project-handling and expense-management skills, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the University.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor civil, infrastructure, construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously across different departments and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, vendors, and internal departments.
- Monitor project progress, quality, timelines, and resource utilization.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, quotations, bills, project expenses, and payments.
- Ensure effective cost control and utilization of resources within approved budgets.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to projects, expenses, vendors, and administrative activities.
- Prepare project status reports, expense statements, MIS reports, and other reports for management.
- Identify administrative and infrastructure requirements and coordinate their timely resolution.
- Support the University Management in planning and executing institutional projects and development activities.

Key Experience Requirements The candidate should preferably have experience in the following three areas:

Civil Engineering Background

- Preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma/Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of construction, civil works, maintenance, renovation, and infrastructure projects is preferred.

1. Multiple Project Handling Experience

- Candidates should have experience in handling multiple projects across different departments/functions.
- Should be capable of coordinating teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders and ensuring projects are completed within the required timelines.

1. Expense & Budget Management

- Robust ability to manage project expenses, budgets, quotations, bills, and cost control.
- Should have practical experience in monitoring expenditure and ensuring optimum utilization of available funds.
- Ability to maintain accurate expense records and prepare project-related financial/MIS reports.

Preferred Candidate Profile A Civil Engineering professional with strong experience in handling multiple projects and managing project expenses will be preferred. However, candidates from other relevant backgrounds may also be considered if they have substantial experience in diverse project management, cross-department coordination, and budget/expense management.
