: Accounts Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our café. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on expertise in Tally and will manage everything from daily sales bookkeeping to monthly balance sheet finalisation. You will ensure accurate vendor payouts, robust tax compliance, and seamless banking reconciliation to keep our café profitable and audit-ready.

Core Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Café Accounting:

Record daily café sales, cash flow, and digital wallet transactions (UPI, cards, food delivery apps) directly into Tally.

o Track routine café expenses, petty cash, and daily operational costs.

Vendor Management & Payments:

o Process, verify, and reconcile raw material invoices (milk, coffee beans, kitchen supplies) against purchase orders.

o Manage timely accounts payable, tracking vendor credit periods and scheduling payouts.

Banking & Reconciliation:

o Perform daily or weekly Bank Reconciliations (BRS) in Tally to match point-of-sale (POS) settlements with actual bank credits.

o Resolve any discrepancies involving cash drops, card settlements, or food aggregator payouts.

Taxation & Compliance (TDS & GST):

o Compute and deduct accurate TDS on vendor contracts, rent,



and professional fees.

o File monthly TDS returns, track certificates, and handle routine statutory compliance.

o Maintain clean records for GST input tax credit (ITC) on café purchases.

Financial Reporting & Finalization:

o Maintain and review the Trial Balance regularly to check for accounting entry errors.

o Prepare and present accurate Profit & Loss statements and the Balance Sheet to management.

o Manage month-end and year-end inventory valuation and closing adjustments in Tally.

Required Skills & Qualifications Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime (including shortcuts, inventory vouchers, and TDS modules).

Experience: 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the restaurant, cafe, or retail/hospitality industry.

Core Knowledge: Strong grasp of accounting principles, inventory management, and Indian statutory compliance (TDS, GST).

Attributes: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: ₹30,000.11 - ₹35,000.07 per month
