Role Description The Accounts Head will oversee the entire accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and statutory compliance for the company. This full-time, on-site role, based in the Greater Coimbatore Area, involves supervising the accounts team, reviewing daily transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The role includes preparing monthly and annual financial statements, managing budgeting and cost control, monitoring cash flow, and coordinating with auditors, tax consultants, and banks.

The Accounts

Head will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards and applicable laws, supporting management with financial analysis, and implementing process improvements to strengthen internal controls. Close collaboration with production, procurement,



and senior leadership is expected to align financial decisions with business objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in financial accounting and reporting, including experience with general ledger management, finalization of accounts, and preparation of financial statements.

- Hands-on expertise in taxation and compliance, such as GST, TDS, statutory filings, and coordination with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to support decision-making, cash flow planning, and performance monitoring.

- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid MS Excel skills for reconciliation, analysis, and management reporting.

- Proven leadership and team management abilities, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and developing the skills of accounting staff.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and present financial insights to senior management.

- Relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; professional qualifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.

- Prior experience in the apparel, textile, or manufacturing sector is highly beneficial, particularly exposure to inventory accounting, costing, and export documentation.

- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in the Greater Coimbatore Area with a focus on deadlines and accuracy.
