KIMS SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL, BILASPUR, CHHATTISGARHJOB DESCRIPTION – FINANCE MANAGER

1 . Key ResponsibilitiesA. Finance & Accounting Operations

- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the hospital.
- Ensure proper recording, classification and reconciliation of all financial transactions.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash and bank transactions.
- Monitor daily collections, deposits and outstanding receivables.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Review and control expenses in accordance with approved budgets and policies.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.

B. Hospital Revenue & Billing
- Monitor hospital revenue from OPD, IPD, emergency, pharmacy, diagnostics, procedures and other services.
- Coordinate with Billing and Front Office teams to identify billing errors, revenue leakage and pending collections.
- Review corporate/TPA/insurance billing and outstanding receivables.
- Monitor claim submission, rejection, deduction and settlement.
- Prepare periodic revenue and collection reports for Management.
- Ensure proper reconciliation between hospital billing systems/ERP and accounts.

C. Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual departmental and hospital budgets in coordination with Management and department heads.
- Monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets.
- Prepare variance analysis and highlight significant deviations.
- Support Management in financial planning and business decisions.
- Prepare financial projections, cash-flow forecasts and other financial analyses.

D. Cash & Bank Management
- Monitor daily cash and bank balances.
- Ensure timely deposit of hospital collections.
- Maintain adequate working capital and liquidity.
- Review bank transactions and reconciliations.
- Monitor cash handling and ensure appropriate internal controls.
- Prevent unauthorized payments and financial transactions.

E. Statutory Compliance

Ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory financial and taxation requirements, including, as applicable:

- GST
- TDS
- Income Tax
- Professional Tax
- PF and ESIC coordination with HR/Payroll
- Other applicable government/statutory requirements
- Ensure timely filing of returns and payment of statutory dues.
- Maintain proper supporting documentation for statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with consultants and statutory professionals wherever required.

F. Payroll & Salary Coordination
- Coordinate with HR for monthly payroll processing.




- Verify payroll-related financial data before processing.
- Ensure proper accounting of salaries, deductions, statutory contributions and other employee-related payments.
- Review salary-related reconciliations and reports.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee salary and financial information.

G. Purchase, Vendor & Payment Management
- Review vendor invoices and supporting documents before payment.
- Ensure payments are made according to approved terms and authorization procedures.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for vendor reconciliation.
- Monitor outstanding vendor payments.
- Identify discrepancies between purchase orders, goods received and invoices.
- Maintain proper vendor ledgers and reconciliation.

H. Internal Controls
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls across hospital departments.
- Identify financial risks, revenue leakage and process gaps.
- Conduct periodic checks of cash, billing, pharmacy, stores and other revenue-generating areas.
- Ensure proper authorization for expenditure and payments.
- Maintain segregation of duties wherever applicable.
- Report financial irregularities to Management immediately.

I. Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate internal, statutory and other financial audits.
- Provide required documents and information to auditors.
- Resolve audit observations in coordination with concerned departments.
- Maintain audit-ready financial records.
- Ensure implementation and monitoring of corrective actions.

J. MIS & Management Reporting

Prepare and submit regular financial reports to Management, including:

- Daily/weekly/monthly collection reports
- Revenue reports
- Outstanding receivables
- TPA/Corporate/Insurance outstanding
- Payables and vendor outstanding
- Cash-flow statements
- Budget vs. actual reports
- Department-wise expenditure
- Profitability/financial performance reports
- Monthly MIS
- Other reports required by Management

K. Team Management
- Supervise and guide the Finance & Accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor work performance.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting and reporting activities.




- Train staff on financial processes and internal controls.
- Conduct regular review meetings with the finance team.
- Maintain discipline, confidentiality and skilled standards within the department.

2. Qualification

Essential:

- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter / CMA or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management.

Preferred:

- CA / CMA / MBA Finance.
- Hospital finance/accounting experience.
- Knowledge of hospital billing, TPA and insurance processes.

3. Experience

Preferred Experience: 5–10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.

Candidates with prior experience in:

- Hospitals
- Healthcare organizations
- Multi-speciality hospitals
- TPA/Insurance billing
- Corporate healthcare billing

will be preferred.
- Technical Skills The candidate should have strong working knowledge of:

- Accounting principles
- GST and TDS
- Financial reporting
- Budgeting
- MIS
- Cash-flow management
- Bank reconciliation
- Vendor reconciliation
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Payroll accounting
- Hospital billing
- TPA/Insurance billing
- MS Excel
- ERP/Hospital Management Software
- Accounting software

Advanced Excel skills will be preferred.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The Finance Manager's performance may be evaluated on:

- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Timely statutory compliance.
- Reduction in outstanding receivables.
- Timely collection and reconciliation of hospital revenue.
- Reduction in billing/revenue leakages.
- Timely vendor reconciliation and payment processing.
- Budgetary control and expenditure management.
- Accuracy of MIS reports.
- Audit compliance and closure of audit observations.
- Cash-flow and working-capital management.
- Accuracy and timely completion of monthly closing.
- Effective management of the Finance & Accounts team.

6. Authority & Approval

As a Management-Approved Position, the Finance Manager shall operate within the financial authority, approval limits and policies defined by Hospital Management.

The Finance Manager shall not independently approve any expenditure, salary, vendor contract, financial commitment or exceptional payment beyond the authority delegated by Management.

Final Salary: As per candidate's qualification, relevant experience, existing salary structure and Management approval.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
