Role & responsibilities

We are moving our entire accounting and inventory operation onto ERPNext Cloud. We want one sharp, honest, hungry person to own it from the ledger side and to grow into the person who runs it. This is not a voucher-entry job.

- Enter and reconcile all sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts and payments from April 2026 into ERPNext, and tie the trial balance to the rupee
- Set up clean master data customers, suppliers, items with serial-number tracking and multi-UOM consumables, tax templates, chart of accounts
- Day-to-day accounting: bank and ledger reconciliation, GST working (GSTR-1, 3B, 2B matching), TDS, month-end close
- Own the debtors ageing report and drive it down — call customers directly, get firm payment commitments with dates, and follow them through to cash in the bank
- Take the daily RFID stock count with the handheld reader and close every variance the same day
- Support packing and dispatch during peak hours — this is a hands-on floor




- Become our in-house champion for ERPNext reports, dashboards and automation, and use AI tools to remove repetitive manual work
- Write an SOP for every process you learn

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Com / M.Com / BBA with minimum 1 year of real, hands-on accounting experience — actual entries and reconciliation, not internship exposure
- Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, ERPNext or any accounting ERP, plus solid Excel (VLOOKUP, pivots)
- Understanding of GST and TDS basics
- Uncompromising honesty. You will handle stock and customer money. References are verified.
- Comfortable picking up the phone and asking a customer to pay — politely, firmly, repeatedly
- Willing to be on the floor: daily RFID scanning, physical stock, packing when volumes demand it
- Explicit spoken Kannada and English; Hindi an advantage
