Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Jalandhar. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing vouchers and journal entries. The role involves preparing and reviewing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting with monthly and annual financial closing.

The Accountant will support budgeting, cost tracking for manufacturing operations, and prepare periodic financial reports for management.



Additional responsibilities may include coordinating with auditors, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial documentation.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage core accounting activities, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements.
- Strong skills in accounts payable and receivable management, bank reconciliation, and cash flow tracking.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or similar), MS Excel, and basic data analysis.
- Knowledge of relevant taxation, GST, and statutory compliance in India, with experience supporting audits and regulatory filings.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and auditors.
- Ability to work in office in Jalandhar, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a manufacturing business environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing sector accounting is beneficial.
