Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. This role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with month-end and year-end closing, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

The Accountant will handle payables and receivables, monitor cash flows, and ensure accurate documentation and filing of financial records. The role also involves supporting audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations,



and communicating financial information to internal stakeholders. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune District, requiring close coordination with operations and finance teams.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience supporting audits, compliance activities, and documentation of financial controls.
- Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with attention to detail and organization.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in an on-site team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, CPA equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting or finance in a services or consumer-focused organization is preferred.
