About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Manager to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and overall accounting functions.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of TallyPrime, GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end closing, along with the ability to independently manage accounting activities and coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, customers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
- Review and monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Ensure timely bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Manage cash flow, cash/bank books, and payment processes.
- Prepare and review GST workings, reconciliations, and returns.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, reconciliations, and filings.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare MIS reports, management reports, and financial analysis.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely settlements.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment and documentation of financial transactions.
- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Tax Consultants, Banks, and other external agencies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Review accounting entries and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Support budgeting, forecasting,



and financial planning activities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective actions.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Guide and supervise junior accounting team members.
- Perform any other finance and accounting activities assigned by management.

Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Inter / CMA / other professional accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Experience
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Hands-on experience with TallyPrime / Tally ERP is mandatory.
- Experience in Engineering, EPC, Construction, Manufacturing, Utility Services, or Service Industry will be preferred.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of TallyPrime / Tally ERP
- Excellent understanding of GST & TDS
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger, Trial Balance, Reconciliation & Financial Statements
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Team management and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Candidate
- Candidate capable of independently handling complete accounting operations
- Strong experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Experience in handling audits and financial reporting
- Good knowledge of MIS and Excel-based reporting
- Experience managing a small Accounts team will be an advantage
- Immediate Joiners / Short Notice Candidates preferred
